2012 bad boy ambush battery complications
Hi all, brand new to the forum I’ve got a 2012 bad boy ambush I’m trying to get right, the electric motor for the front wheels doesn’t work at all, since I’ve been trying to tinker with it, and if I have battery ‘3’ hooked up like it should be according to the Manual then the gas motor/ headlight/ led light indicating forward neutral and reverse don’t work either, however if I have battery ‘3’ hooked up opposite of how it should be all of those problems go away aside from the electric motor still not working, any have any thoughts on this? I would include a link to the manual I’m getting the battery layout from but I cannot include links in my post until I’ve been a member for 7 days

Re: 2012 bad boy ambush battery complications
That’s the exact pic I was referring to lol, so my problem is that nothing at all works if I have the ground off number three battery on the passenger side, however if I turn the battery around (positive on passenger side) atleast the gas motor and headlights will work but still not electric motor

Re: 2012 bad boy ambush battery complications
Do you have one of the other batteries turned the wrong way?
When properly connected you should have 48 volts across the + terminal on battery 1 to the - terminal on battery 4. |

Re: 2012 bad boy ambush battery complications
No other batteries were flipped other then the number 3 battery, with it being incorrect I was getting about 46v , I haven’t checked the pack voltage again since I flipped it around , could one of the wires be going to the wrong terminal?
