Default 2016 RXV speed increase?

Looking to gain some speed from my 2016 RXV. I bought this new here in AZ (in a retirement community) and getting tired of being passed all the time. Would like to get 27-30mph. I use it as transportation in our community as well as a couple rounds of golf per week. Here are some current cart details!
Current speed 19-20mph.
Tire size 205/40-14R (they just replaced the 215/35-14 original nylons)
Cart “not lifted” and don’t want to.
48v = 6x8v
Thanks

If your controller revision level is 6.0 or below you should have no problem getting to 27-30mph. All it takes is a programming change.

Or, if you’re willing to budge on the lift, you’ll get on the low side of that range if you increase tire size to 23” or greater. I get ~27mph with 23” tires and a stock controller. There will of course be a proportionate decrease in torque if you go that route.

2010 RXV, Danaher controller, 14s Leaf lithium conversion, CleanPowerAuto miniBMS and EV display, Quick Charge 25A charger, 3” lift, 23” tires. UNDER CONSTRUCTION: Upgrade in progress.

I don’t know what revision level my controller is at? I’m not sure who or where I could find a programming change!

Really don’t want to increase my center of gravity with a lift kit. I do understand that the 23” tires will increase the speed some!

Your better off not lifting it. 23" tires on a stock controller will eventually burn out a stock controller anyways. I've had to replace controllers for members here that had gone that route. With the tires you have, it's capable of 30+ MPH with your stock controller, typically 32 MPH top speed with your tires fully aired up. Being in AZ does complicate matters though. I'm in Florida right now. Will be heading back to TN this weekend. Then I will start planning trips for the warmer weather season coming up.

Thanks for supporting the non lift idea! Bob, If you are planning on making a trip out west please send a PM. We do head to the mid west for a few months to get out the heat and visit family!

I don't have my PM enabled, don't really have time to keep up with PMs. I'm a very busy individual, especially as of late. Jeff, usgicollector on here, helps me with coordinating trips. I have an upcoming trip, where I will be working my way out to Texas and back. I'm trying to give them time to recover from the weather event. Worst, there will be an ecological disaster, once that metal contamination makes it into the water table. The cloud seeding chemicals used will leave the ground saturated with high levels of 3 toxic metals and sulphur. Yes, it was an attack upon that part of hte country. The population of Texas was being punished for something that they had no control over!

Thanks for all you do! I hear you Bob about Texas! Is this a tool one can purchase and do themselves? I’m in no hurry, just trying to get a grasp on this information on reprogramming a stock controller. Not many sources out there that talk about it!

I’m interested in this info as well. First time on the forum. I have a 2019 RXV freedom w 4 12s that can hit 23-24 on flattish roads but a decent incline slows me down to 10-11 mph with 2 passengers approx 350 lbs. I went for the RXV because of the AC motor and advertised less loss of speed climbing. Is this normal performance? The shop I purchased from seems to think so but they are not very helpful. 24 mph is fine for me but the uphill torque is disappointing. Can a tune address this uphill speed (if it’s not normal)?
