Default EZGO TXT Heatsink bolts?

For the love of GOD.... this is the sort of thing that drives me insane....

I have a brand new heat sink because the original broke off. What in the name of GOD does it use to bolt onto the cart? The3 or 4 diagrams on the shop.ezgo site do not even show the stupid bolts.

Yes, I could drill them out a little and fabricate whatever.. but I like trying to use what it is supposed to us and cannot find jack or.. well, you get the idea.. heh

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have never taken a controller mounting blade off a TXT without either braking it or breaking a bolt in it. I just make my own out of bent aluminum now and screw em in. The mounting plate is really not necessary. :D I have mounted controllers in all sorts of weird ways on EZGO TXTs. So much wasted space standing the controllers up.

Eh, since I had one, new...figured to use it.

Just need to grab some 1/4 20 bolts is all.. heh

Not sure if space is wasted, but I figure the controller fan needs breathing room.

That is a pretty cool setup you have though. More pics?

GRADY.....just a very important reminder.....the Heatsink is ALL ALUMINUM....and the bolts you will be using to mount it to the floor are carbon steel....absolutely ensure you use some type of never seize on them, for if you don't....somewhere down the road you will need to taker it apart and they WILL be seized up and bonded together. that is how I found both of the carts I have rebuilt and had to cut the apart just to get them out of the cart.

very good info thanks. was wondering about that too

Going to Lowes to get bolts. Looks like 1/4 x 20 x .9 for 2 of them, then 1/4 x 20 x 1.5 for two others.
