92 Marathon Not moving

Hello, I am new to the group and have read and done a lot of research off this forum which has been awesome. So first and foremost I would like to THANK everyone for all that you do on here. I picked up a 92 Marathon electric and the guy didn't really know much about it. I have replaced the following F/R switch, Solenoid, micro switch on top of the potentiometer, batteries, and the motor was rebuilt by Plum quick. When I hit the pedal it wiped out the micro switch on top of the Potentiometer and I am thinking I may need to replace the controller. The controller I have is a 1204-009 and it looks like a 1204M-5302 is a replacement for it. Is that correct? and if so why does it have a Molex plug on it as mine does not.
