Default Troubleshooting a resistor series club car

Buddy has a an 86 club car that’s been parked in a barn for 4 years. Ran fine when he parked it. Batteries were shot of course. Replaced but still not running. Nothing at all. Is there anything to look for on those older carts? I replaced all the battery cables and a bunch of connectors on other wires. Haven’t messed with those carts before

You should be able to find wiring schematic in the sticky’s for reference. Assuming it’s straight resistors vs the 5 solenoid type I would start checking the micro switches to verify that power and ground is getting to solenoid then verify that the solenoid is working. Shouldn’t be to tough to diagnose.

How would I tell if it’s straight resistors vs the 5 solenoid?

Look under the seat, just in front of the rear axle, and see if you have 5 solenoids there. [emoji6]
