Default 2013 EZGO TXT 48V Bad Input Shaft? Axle? Gears? Help with this noise.

Guys, recently got a cart and now have a grinding/rattling type noise intermittently, it seems like it happens when the cart transitions from drive to coast as I go up and down small road hills and the speed gets regulated but the pedal is still all the way down. If I let off the gas quickly when the sound starts the noise stops instantly. Thoughts? Trying to get a vid uploaded from my phone now. Thanks in advance guys

I’m really struggling to add video. I can email it to someone if there interested in trying to help diagnose. Thanks

My '13 makes a similar noise, kind of a light grinding/brushing sound. It only does it when you're floating the pedal. When you're not accelerating or letting off, sort of in between.
I've read where it may be the bushing at motor and axle connection.
May have worded that wrong.

Worn gears in the transaxle/differential. The tooth surfaces that are touching when going forward are the opposite of the ones that are touching in reverse, or decelerating.

When there is a firm contact between tooth surfaces they are relatively quiet, but when they are someplace between acceleration and deceleration, they can get pretty noise.

There isn't any backlash adjustments, so not much can be done about it short of new gears.

Thanks guys, I had a local guy that works on carts tell me it may be in the input shaft. We are going to get it up on stands soon and try to locate exactly where the sound is coming from.
