i have a 2003 ezgo TXT series drive cart with very dead batteries that will not freewheel. I understand that there is no R/T switch. Hw does one budge the thing? I am trying to sell it "as is" ut can't get it moved....

There is no freewheel. The motor is direct connected to the gears in the differential. If the wheels are locked the choices are: (1) brakes are locked up, (2) differential is locked up, (3) the motor itself is locked up.

Worth your time to be [U]certain[U]that the brakes are not locked up.

Did the parking brake release when you kicked the brake pedal?

My guess is rear brakes shoes are locked to drums .more so if cart sat a long time with parking brake on.
Try “us adjusting rear brakes. If that makes no difference. Try to remove each rear drum.
If you can’t remove rear drums, brakes are your problem. If rear drums remove,
motor or differential are the problem.

Txt has mechanical brakes, not electric brakes.

If it was locked to start with it is possible that the brake cables are stuck in the casing. Look at the arms while someone pushes the pedal.
