Default TXT questions

I have a spare Alltrax 300A SR series controller and a higher torque series motor I pulled out of a 48V EZGO. I'm considering buying a 2001 TXT that needs new batteries...I have an RXV that has 4 12V Trojans in it. Was thinking I could upgrade the RXV to a lithium pack and move those batteries over to the TXT and upgrade the motor and controller while I'm at it.

Is it as simple as going from a 36V battery pack to a 48V pack or would the solenoid and other equipment need to be replaced as well?

You already have some of the equipment, but to jump to 48v you need a new charger, batteries, battery cables, solenoid and controller.

You evidently have the controller and batteries and charger. So it sounds like you may need some cables (depending on what you can gather from the RXV) and a solenoid. Pretty cheap stuff, relatively.

Thanks for the reply BronsonJ! I still have the solenoid from the 48V donor cart so guess I'll probably only really need the battery cables. Might have those from the RXV depending on which lithium pack I go with.

Sounds like the major question now would be what to do for lithium batteries for the RXV.

That Alltrax SR controller will NOT work on an RXV.

EDIT: Re-reading this, I originally thought you were putting that Alltrax on the RXV, now I see that's not the plan. Please disregard.
