That reading means that the switch should be okay. The handheld I am talking about is the Curtis handheld. It is the diagnostic tool used to troubleshoot that controller.

Have you tried removing the leads from both sides of the solenoid (Battery pack and motor leads) and running a couple jumper wires with the correct coil voltage directly to the solenoid to see if you can hear it opening and closing that way?

Another thing I noticed from other posts is the resistor and diodes. I have a resistor across the large terminals but nothing was across the small terminals in the solenoid I took off. Should there have been one with this setup

Your setup doesn’t require the diode on the resistor

Thanks. Had a wedding and a funeral yesterday so I’m going to try and see if I can trouble shoot some more today

I posted pics of voltage on the solenoid below your comment. don’t know if you can tell anything from those. I thought the small post with the blue wire should drop to 0v when pedal is pressed causing solenoid to click and run. If so it doesn’t. I can only get the solenoid to click by battery+ to one small post and battery- to the other small post. If I understand you correctly I can remove the blue wire from the small post and run a jumper wire to that post from the battery- and cart should run? I also I checked the controller wires if you can tell anything else from those results

From your sheet it appears that you might have a problem with the ITS.

Would an ITS issue keep the solenoid from clicking?

If the controller senses the throttle isn’t correct it will throw an error and not activate the solenoid.
