Talking Yamaha G9 Gas-Rear end noise

I have checked the brake pads and wheel bearings but the rear end left side seems to be noisy. Is there some sort of adjustment for the transmission to make sure it is fully engaged. It runs OK but just seems load.
Also when I floor it it goes to a pretty good speed for about 5 seconds and then backs off about 15 or 20% on acceleration and stays steady. If I back off the accelerator a little and floor it again I can accomplish the same thing.
