Should I oil or grease?
Hi everyone!
I haven't been around in a long time. My cart has been behaving well (knock on wood!). But yesterday, I couldn't move the F/R knob. I lifted the seat and moved it by moving the rod that connects the knob to the watchamacallit box (with difficulty). Can I oil or grease that, to loosen it up? If so.......what do I use and where do I use it? Thanks! |

Re: Should I oil or grease?
INOX is a good product for this, as it is non flammable. I have dripped a little WD40 on them before to free them up. If i have them apart i always smear a little grease on the pivot shaft before re-assembly. The resistance usually from the pivot at the handle or the cam, not the rod that goes in between .

Re: Should I oil or grease?
Do not loosen the nut on the f&r to make movement easier (unless you want to replace it sooner).
