Default Sooooo tail lights staying on ??

So my 16 precedent is doing something funny. It’s been fine for months no issues. All of a sudden, the
F/R switch takes a dump out of no where. Just sitting not being used. I swapped in a new one and now that problem is solved.

Now 2 days later (cart been sitting not being used) I walk into the garage this morning and the rear tail lights are on. Cart is off, not plugged in, just been sitting. No other lights on. But tail lights are on. I tried to flip the TOW switch to see if that would cut them off, but it did not. I flipped the ignition key on & off a couple times and nothing changed. I turned the headlights on and off a couple times and even stomped on the brake pedal but nothing changed with tail lights. I literally had to pull the fuse from the tail light wiring for them to go off.

WTF

Could it possibly be the brake lights are on and not the tail lights? If so the pressure switch for the brake lights is shorted or it may need repositioning. To verify remove the front floor mat on remove cover for brake assy. You will see two wires with bullet connector on then. Disconnect one and see if the lights go out.
