rpm limitor.......thats why C.C. tells you to replace them both cause you just don,t know which one and theres no real way to bench test them..............................

couldn't you just bypass the rpm limitor to see if that is what is causing the problem? mine was just a ring terminal to ground. took it off( i didn't want it anyway) and have never had any problems.

yes you can however if you leave it that way and you go over the recomended rpm,s one to many times you know what happens right......................
