Building a speed controller for my 1986
Workin on a friends 1986 Par Car. His speed control went up and he told me to fix it. He didnt mention that he didnt want to buy a new one, so we had it sittin in our shop for a few months and we think we finally found a way. It had a pot box style controler and we are gonna make a new one with 5 microswitches. We havent figured it completely out. We need some advise! Any help?!

Got a sealed electrical box, 1 1/2 inch pipe with ends, sealed it up, the pipe is the cam, drilled holes in it different places so when i speed up the switches hit the holes and speeds up and slows it down, drove it around! it works! cant believe it!
