Default Turn signal help

Hey guys was wondering if you could steer me in the right direction here, I have a 99 txt gasser, got from buggies unlimited the factory style head/ tail light kit and at the same time ordered the brake light kit and turn signal kit. Everything came with simple directions except for the turn signals, I've printed out most every wiring diagram I've found on here and have had no luck. The turn signal has several multi colored wires and I haven't the slightest clue as to where they go. One diagram I tried made head lights and parking lamps blink together! Lol it's gettin pretty frustrating. Do you extend the wires to each light or is there something simple I'm over looking? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!
