Ezgo"s disk brakes any good?
The set they have on sale for $144, does it come with everything u need and do they appear to be a good set of breaks?

Re: Ezgo"s disk brakes any good?
I have installed a few sets on the older BBB (bad boy buggy) being that the BB is heavy (1000-1400lbs) they work so much better than the old drums. The good thing about them is the ease of cleaning them.
the thing about them is you have to have a minimum of 10" wheels. |

They are excellent brakes, huge difference in stopping power but do require at least a 10 inch wheel. Also thanks for the link, I just ordered a set for my newest project

Re: Ezgo"s disk brakes any good?
They are great brakes bit I have had a problem with them squeaking. My cart will do 30 plus and they were still not enough. I added Jake's front hydraulics and with that I can stop real quick. In hignsight, knowing what I know now. I would put 4 wheel hydraulics and plan to change to rear hydraulics in the future. Check out one of the forum sponsors. Cartsunlimited. Scotty b them in 2 and 4 wheel sets. Ifyou get the 4 wheel you will only need one master cylinder I believe.
