That they do. I'm trying to find something Tan and Teal. I found some cool looking paint from "Eastwood" I'm thinking of painting the cart with, but I want to make sure I can get the seat to come close to matching the paint color. The guy I bought it from did a half azz spray bomb job. I'm going to pull it all apart and repaint it. Thanks again.

Be sure to take pic's. We like before and after pic's. You should be able to find some covers for it. Check out our sponsor page. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/site-sponsors.php

I actually got a minute last night to look into this. It seems as the cart wasn't charging. When I charged the battery it would only last a day or so. When it was fully charged and had 12 volts it would start rite up no delay. Did about 2 mins worth of looking and found a plug on the drivers rear fender was disconnected. plugged it and and whammo its now charging.

That sure sounds like it would produce your symptoms. With a weak/low battery, when you press the accelerator, the solenoid picks up and the starter tries to crank the engine. The starter current required is high as it slowly pushes the engine through compression (this is your 2-4 seconds). Once past compression the current requirement goes down and the starter can now get up a head of steam as it rolls through the exhaust stroke. It then has enough momentum built up to allow the starter to push through compression and the engine starts. I've actually seen this happen on my riding lawn mower when the battery gets low. Sometimes you can bump the starter a few times to push it through compression, then it rolls and starts. I've seen some posts here where pumping the accelerator is required to get a start (same problem). Glad you found the trouble. - RAY

Yeah I just got it a couple weeks ago, I've been doing alot of other things so I haven't had time to really look into. I also have 2 small children so time is a thing of the past. So I tinker with it when I get a chance. I want to repaint it but It'll most likely have to wait a few more weeks. My main concern was it running and it does run and sound strong. The rest can wait I hate it but I really can't peck at it to paint it, I'd like to do it all at once. I could prob get it preped in stages but I'd rather paint it at the same time, so i dont have to keep taping, untapin and retaping etc. Thanks

The prep, little by little, should work but you're right that the actual painting will require a longer period of time. Maybe some night after the kids are in bed. Good luck to ya on that. - RAY
