01 clubcar ds carryall (electrical)
Hey guys hoping theres someone out there who can help. Just replaced starter generator on it and ran great for about 2 months now it has power everywhere except when I push the gas it does nothing but click from the solenoid?? battery is charged and I replaced the micro switches.

Need to check a little further. Make sure you get battery + power across the solenoid when you hear the "click" (white wire side). Make sure you get that same battery + reading where that same white wire attaches to the starter generator. Then check grounds. One ground strap runs from the end cap of the starter generator to the frame rail above. Another ground strap runs between the front of the engine (commonly the a stud on the cylinder head) to the frame ahead of the engine cradle. The "Main" ground runs from the (-) battery terminal and bolts to the frame right next to the battery. You can test for a ground path problem by running a jumper cable from the terminal on the starter generator end cap straight to the (-) battery terminal & see if that makes it work.
