Thanks, good info. I’d still like to know if there’s any change in voltage when you press the go pedal. What voltage are you reading before and during pressing the pedal?

For giggles, try this. Jack up the rear so the wheels are off the ground and put it on jack stands. Put it in forward or reverse, and press the gas. See if you have any movement at all out of the rear wheels with no load on them.

Remove the cover over the rear of the cart for controller access. Press the go pedal. While holding the go pedal down, Use the handle of a screwdriver and give the solenoid a whack. Just because it clicks doesn’t necessarily mean it’s actually making contact internally.

If the wheels start to go after you whack the solenoid, pretty clear the solenoid needs to be replaced. I would also replace the resistor and diode at the same time.

If nothing happens after whacking it a few times (ok that didn’t sound quite right...) then will need to check voltages into and out of the controller with a good DVOM. I don’t know you or your comfort level with electrical diagnosis, but there’s a few things we can check if you have a DVOM and a reasonable knowledge of how to use it.

I am up and ready. I checked battery pack at 48 volts, switch on reverse buzzer sounding, push the go pedal , no movement and did not click. There was a small click at the pedal, but it clicked when i barely pushed the pedal about an inch. then i pushed the pedal all way down and no movement.
The pk voltage is 48 , when the pedal is pressed ;there is no change in the voltage.

Ok. But what does the pack voltage do when you press the pedal?

And did you whack the solenoid?

48 volts is a dead pack by the way. 48 volts is around 50% state of charge. It should still be enough to make it move but if voltage drops much lower when there’s any load then it may not. The controller shuts down at some point to prevent damage from low voltage.
