OBC? Reset? 96 cc 48 volt
Charger will not charge the kart, tried it on another kart and works fine. Bought brand new batteries, thougth that was the problem! Kart drives fine, but batteris will not charge. How do I reset the OBC? Can I test the OBC? Are the OBC a common part, where would I purchase one?

Welcome to the forum 4kart5........................
First............ Check to see if you reconnected the charger recepticle wires on the inside of the cart to the new batteries. This is very comon to forget the charger wires because they fall down when the batteries are changed out. Let us know..................... |

You can re boot the obc by disconnecting batteries and place shifter in reverse, buzzer will sound for several minutes and then die. When you connect batteries obc will re boot.

Re: OBC? Reset? 96 cc 48 volt
Can charge the batteries by jumping the charger. Make sure all conections are clean, and wires are good, check the grey wire out of the charge recpticle that it is tight. A dirty conection or bad wire will keep from charging with the obc. Also just read where someone had the black wire running through the obc backwards make sure goes through the plastic side first from battery pack. Had a 97 had a bad wire that looked good but was not had to replace the end and cut off a couple of inches put a new end on it works fine.
