Back fire
My G9 back fires (big & load) when I get back on the gas after going downhill.
When you see an Officer spin around with his hand on his gun, you know it’s to load. What can to be done to fix this? |

Re: Back fire
Make sure throttle on the carb. is adjusted so it completely closes when you let off the gas.

Re: Back fire
I recently had the same problem with my stock G8. I found the carb butterfly wasn't closing like advised in previous reply. My prob was a dry throttle cable. A little WD-40 and it cleared up the problem.

Re: Back fire
Its also a good idea to spray your brake cables periodically too: at the lever and back on the rear chunk.
