Re: Towing Capability
Now that Scotty handled the awkward moment Gotta remember that even though the tounge is only 150 lbs, you still need to pull the 1500+ trailer weight.

Re: Towing Capability
If it's a Series cart it will handle the abuse The scary part will be stopping 3Xs the designed load ~ so... no hills and go slow

Re: Towing Capability
i am 6"2" and weigh 260. i've stepped on the rear step several times and the shocks go down a little but the cart is not close to doing a wheelie. the step extends the length of the cart by 1 foot.

Re: Towing Capability
That step is made of steel and yours is aluminum = much softer material

Re: Towing Capability
I'm thinking of purchasing an Electic cart, do you believe I will have any problems putting in and pulling out 2 seadoos on a twing trailer? The ramp is at a very small sloping grade. It will only be done periodically.
Thanks for the help |

Re: Towing Capability
They make a hitch that mounts to the rear seat foot rest with an extension that also bolts to the frame, sounds like what you need. Mine is just bolted to the frame of the footrest (which is bolted to the frame), but I won't be towing anything as big as your pop up.

Re: Towing Capability
I have launched and recovered a 24ft pontoon boat using my cart as the tow vehicle, but I have also done major electrical modifications to my cart. A stock cart MAY struggle recovering the seadoos, Make sure you purchase a Series cart AND plan to upgrade the motor/controller/wiring/solenoid/F&R if you feel it is struggling on the recovery.
