More torque
I have a 2000 Electric EZGO 36v. I would like to increase the power of it. I use it to hunt and ride on the beach. Hills, mud, loose thick beach sand really is a problem. I'm not concerned with speed although it would be nice to go a little faster, but I mainly like to sneak around through the woods. No fumes, no noise. I was thinking about getting the torque kit from Buggies Unlimited. The one with the new controller, motor, cables and such, but that's over $1200.00 Is that what I have to do for more power or can I do it cheaper. I already have the 4gauge wires throughout and running a 480 controler. My buggy has over size tires, not sure the size right off the bat and a 4in. lift kit. I took off the seat on the back and all the hardware and just made a flat bed out of it to carry seed or my tree stand and occassionly a nice Deer. Any help would be appreciated.
