Default New HD F/R switch

I just bought a HD F/R switch from scotty. I've been doing a little research on different types of HD F/R switch and one company sells a thick copper bus bar. Do you think I can use my old bus bar, add it to my new one from scotty and make it like double thick and have a Super Duty F/R? The top pic is my old one and the bar is in great shape. The second pic is scotty's new HD Cam upgrade. The bottom pic is of said HD bus bar upgrade.

I started out putting bug heavy bars of copper in the switch cam. I found that at a certain point the thickness of the buss bar works against the heat problem by becoming a heat sink and retaining heat. We experimented with different configurations until we came across the the new cooler design, mathematically it is greater in thickness and width and ran 20% cooler than the heavier predecessor. That is why we run the bars we do.

Sometimes more isn't better.

How many amps are the new ones rated at? How big of a controller can be ran through this switch? You know when I'm not happy with the speed I'll upgrade it again.

1987 melex 412e controller cart 0-5k throttle pot box, White Rodgers 200 amp cont use solenoid, bandit motor, has a curtis 1204 350A controller comtroller looks like this but nicer. I'm thinking about a 500 amp controller and 20-22" wheels.

This is a series cart, A larger controller will gain you torque. 20-22 inch tires will gain 2-4 mph. I don't know off hand what the exact results will be for the motor upgrade.....have you called PQ?
