F&R switch heating up
Scotty, after I ran my cart a while I checked my cables and they were cool as a cucumber. I wish I could say the same for the FNR switch. It wasn't so hot that I couldn't keep my hand on it but it was a lot warmer than I care for. Will your upgraded cam get warm or do you think mine is fine?

Re: F&R switch heating up
Scotty always recommends upgrading to an hd f&r to with stand the power from a big controller. So I would look into getting one from him.

Re: F&R switch heating up
In our test cart (42v Western) my new design ultra cool buss bars in a new F&R ran 80 degrees cooler than the stock unit.
Every cart is a little different.... A switch cam is better than nothing and a whole new assembly with the ultra cool HD switch cam is the best I have seen in ezgo F&R temperature control ... |
