Default battery cable idea

What about using the pre made starter to solenoid cables? They are 4 gauge crimped on lugs and looks like I could do everything for about $75 tops.

Thoughts?

Are you talking about automotive cables? If so, save your money and buy 4g welding cable. Automotive battery cable is for starting engines, not suited for the high continuous amp loads of a modern golf cart.

I have personally seen those type of lugs corrode into dust within one year on a cart.

Oddly enough, the simple way is to buy them from scottyb....Carts Unlimited. The next option is to follow the instructions listed elsewhere on the forum to build your own. Not worth it trying to shortcut spending a few bucks to get the correct items and prevent golf cart fires......
