Re: '03 ez-go PDS reverse buzzer's too loud
Over three years ago. Might be close to a record.
The cart that was the object of this thread is a 2003 PDS EZGO. The OEM controllers have the ability to run diagnostics and report any faults utilizing the reverse buzzer. Nice resurrection. |

Re: '03 ez-go PDS reverse buzzer's too loud
Do I just use a couple of small screws to re-attach the key panel? I hate that EZ go uses so many #$*&^% plastic rivets!
Let me refresh...removing the key switch panel by drilling out those little plastic rivets. Did a search on loud buzzer and I found this oldie but goodie. Last edited by Scooter B; 07-06-2011 at 10:07 AM.. Reason: realized how old this thread is... |

Re: '03 ez-go PDS reverse buzzer's too loud
I did this with electrical tape last week. Used 2 small screws in the rivet. I just used a small screw and pushed out the center pin. No drill needed.
You have to listen real hard to hear it now, it was obnoxious before. |

Same thing, just used a small screwdriver to pop out the rivets and replaced with scrws. |

I haven't drilled them out yet, but was just wondering Once I drill out the rivets and put duct tape over the speaker, how do you go about putting the plate back on? Would I need rivets or could I screw the plate back in? |

I just reached up from the front of the cart and pulled one leg off. Bliss, no beep.
