Just a couple more pics. Trying to work fast, the wife says "get it done already" I'm hoping that also includes an authorization to spend money as well!

In this you can see that one is clean of paint and rust (mostly) and the other is pretty much how it came off the cart.

There is a good amount of rust here on the front leaf spring, can I grind this off and repaint, is it worth it to replace it?

Removed the bolts in the frame, but still can't get this front assembly off the frame. It wont budge, so this is where I'm stopping for the evening.

Did you ever find what back seat to buy where you keep the sweater basket?

Update:
Hit a little stand-still as I have had a busy weekend. I got the HD rear leaf springs in the mail and threw down a little paint on some parts, most because I was bored. Here are some photos of the progress.

This is what my garage looks like now, I gotta say, the wife is loving this rebuild.

Painted the rear drums

Front shocks, sanded and taped.

Only had time to paint one, started to rain.

Here is a pic of everything together.

Yah! There is a company on Ebay that sells a kit that keeps the sweater basket and the kit looks really good. Great reviews on Ebay and it's a good price. Just search Club Car Precedent Rear Seat kit.

So, while I was going to keep this at the stock height, I've been thinking about putting a 3 inch lift and 14" wheels with low-pros. Unless someone can talk me out of it....

I'm not crazy about the added cost, but I think it will look good.

Looking good!Nice how clean your cart is.Nothing like my old 20 yr old rust bucket.I see no reason not to get a lift and new tires.Might need clearance to go over the hills on the course

Thanks! Yeah, I figured I would need the clearance, just in case I want to drive up to my ball when it's in the bunker.
