How to adjust potentiometer
If anyone has a step by step for dummies on how to adjust the potentiometer for more speed in my '96 48 volt club car ds I'd love to boost it a bit. However I would like to know any risks to doing so, as in cart damage and what not. Thanks again!

Re: How to adjust potentiometer
You might have the wrong idea about what the pot is and how it works..... typically adjustment will not increase speed unless the ohms signal is incorrect. Test your pot signal to determine if it is correct. Then you will know

Re: How to adjust potentiometer
Good news! You can adjust the pot box, and insure that you are getting 100% throttle output when you're pedal is all the way down. My first cart was a 96 just like yours. When I first got it, it was a dog and went about 9 mph. Then I got under the cart and adjusted the linkage and it went around 16-17 mph!
For whatever reason, it had been adjusted all the way down. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...djustment.html |
