Aux switch wiring help
Hello, I tried last night to wire in a led light strip to act as a dome light... I bout a mic tuning rocker switch and a wiring harness.... The switch is illuminated and if I wire it as the directions say the switch is on all the time. I would like to make the switch only powered when the key is on.... How is that possible? I want to out the switch in the dash ... Any help is greatly appreciated...
My ride is a 2007 Precedent gas. Here is the switch and wiring harness: There are so many wires in my dash harnesses, I am sure I could tap into one the achieve the desired results, however I figured it was easier to ask as opposed to tapping each one by trial and error. |

U can use a voltage meter if u have one on igntion switch to find hot lead when on. Or just keep touching wire til it comes on Then touch with switch off.
