Is the newer sealed bearing better to run?
Or keep the older design as its serviceable?

to run newer sealed bearings you would need to change entire spindle assembly & hub

I know but if I'm going to buy a new lift, I'd only have to change out the hub assembly to match the lift.
So which s actually better or would the newer hubs keep water out better and last longer?

I installed a six inch lift so I got all new bearings, races and spindles! I'm good to go. And yes marine grade grease!
