Default Rear end oil seal replacement

hello all. I have a 2010 Shuttle 4 with the Kawasaki engine. The rear differential is leaking oil on the drivers side.
Looking at the manual posted on another thread it looks like the axle and axle tube must be removed to get to the seal.

My questions are,
1. Can the axle tube and axle be removed as a single unit? Being careful to align the axle shat when reinstalling the tube.
2. Can this seal be replaced with diff still in cart?

Was hoping to jack up cart and put on jack stands. Support rear diff and then pull left side axle and tube as a unit after un bolting it from the leaf spring. Replace seal and reassemble. Is it doable this way? What other pitfalls do I need to watch out for?

Thanks in advance!
Don

Anyone ever replaced one of those seals?

I am getting ready to do this since hopefully spring is just around the corner.

Any one have any feedback?

TIA Don

Just reporting back for future use if anyone needs to know.

I was able to change the driver side seal as described above.

Put buggy on jackstands, supported the rear diff with a floor jack.
Removed driver side tire and wheel.
Loosened the U bolts on DS Spring. (had to come back and remove the outer U bolt to allow the axle tube to slide out.)
Removed the bolts that hold the axle tube to the rear differential.
Slide tube, axle shaft out as a unit.
Replaced seal.
Reinstalled axle tube.
Reinstalled and tightened U bolts for spring.
Reinstall tire and wheel.
Filled rear diff with oil.

Worked out fine. I had bought new brake shoes thinking they were grease soaked on driver side. BUT as it turned out they were not.

Did you have to remove the muffler for the drivers side axle housing?

Thanks

NO, I did not remove the muffler. For the record this is the Kawasaki engine and rear end.
