I unhooked the rev limiter ground. I've driven the cart over the same area that seemed to always cause the issue and no problem. Hopefully the rev limiter was the issue and thanks for the advise. Time will tell.

Even with rev limiter ground removed from bolt and electrical taped off the problem has returned. Runs then shuts off, runs then shuts off just as if you backed off the gas pedal each time. I ran it for 2 miles all around a pasture and other than when you put your foot into it, it misses one time, it ran great. Does that 1 miss when accelerating mean anything??

I'm thinking I had a bad key switch one time. The vibration would cause it to cut out. I think by turning off the key will kill the engine while it's running.

Also you can remove the white wire i think that goes to the coil. It connects next to the rev limiter also. Once it cranks it should stay running with that wire removed. Then if it cuts out you know the coil might be going out on you.

Ignition switch was a thought as well. How do you get to it? Looks like there are two knobs on each side of the instrument cluster. Do they pop out and there's a screw behind?

Correct. Pop those plastic caps off with a flat blade screwdriver and then remove the two phillips head screws holding the dash panel on

But... Loosen, do not remove the screws!

For a Gas CC... Make sure to disconnect the battery before doing anything!
The key switch lugs just might touch the aluminum trim!

I had a 97 doing similar and it was the micro-switch on the throttle cam in the electrical box by the battery. I bypassed it temporarily and the problem went away.

Status: After doing all I have mentioned above, the issue remains: starts, runs 10 seconds and then shuts down,. It shuts down sooner if a bump is hit. There's nothing more on the outside that is cart related that I haven't changed or checked. I'm thinking it is something to do with the engine firing the plug that bounces loose or changes position when I hit a bump.

Question - a 2003 FE350 doesn't have points or an engine control module, so how does it know when to fire the plug? What ever that is, is messed up (I think).

Did you find the white wire that connects next to the rev limiter? That's a ground wire that grounds the coil.

If you unplug that wire it will bypass all kill systems. If I remember right.

No points. There is a coil and an igniter under the cover on the drivers side.

Also that spark plug connector screws off the wire. You can take it off an make sure it looks good. Trim it back if needed
