Front Disc Brakes
Is Jakes the only manufacturer of disc brakes for the front? I have a 2001.5 TXT with a 5" All Sports Lift (drop axle) and 12" TEMPEST ALUMINUM WHEELS from Steeleng Golf Cart. The way I understand it, from different sale ads, you have to have a Jakes lift kit to put hydraulic discs on the front. Hopefully someone can set me straight on this.

Re: Front Disc Brakes
Yes, the Jakes front disc brakes only work with the Jakes lift kits.

Re: Front Disc Brakes
If you have the stock drum's on the back, send a PM to ScottyB as he does sell rear disc brakes for (I believe) all models. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/ausco-...ezgo-hubs.html Disc brakes on the rear have to be better than any drum set out there.

Re: Front Disc Brakes
I have looked at them, but with a Vegas Carts big block, I wanted to put brakes on the front first, then on the rear later. I emailed Allsports to see if they had any information on how their spindles compare to stock spindles or Jakes spindles.
