acceleration problem
Hi Everyone ,,,
I have a 2001 EZGO TXT with a robins 2 cycle motor 292 When I accelerate the drive pulley closes up a little bit and the back pulley opens a little bit When wide open it hits Rev limiter and belt is not coming up right on drive clutch .. and I have no speed ... all is original clutches I suspect a pulley is bad . But which one?? any suggestions on what to do would be appreciated Thanks Bob |

Re: acceleration problem
Remove the belt, start the engine and slowly increase engine speed to see if the drive clutch closes up all the way. Dont over rev it.

Re: acceleration problem
Take the cover off check and see if anything is broke inside broken weights can make them not shift under a load causing motor to his rev limiter
