Default Cleaning up a gremlin

Hello all,

Just cleaning up this mess of a wiring job and un maintenanced machine.

Was curious on a couple things. If oil is mixed can i remove the oil tank and lines?

What gauge of wire is ran from the generator?

Here are some pics. Im guessing its am 86 model from the frame tag, but the engine is an 88?

Wrong exhaust for an 88.

Remove oil lines, and tank. Plug the banjo hole at the intake with a 6mm screw.

Would it be better to buy the whole engine rebuild or just do an upper?

You can read this to get a better understanding of the pump. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...fuel-pump.html

But, it's probably the dreaded crankshaft seals.
