Ez go mpt 1200 won't go into gear
My 2007 ezgo mpt 1200 will not go forward or backward. Occasionally in the last year i have had it , it would kind of grind and then take off only after i had backed up and then put it back into forward. The last time it made some bad grinding/clunking noise now it will not go. Is this a transmission problem? When i jack it up and push the gas it will very slowly move the passenger side tire.

Sounds like the common stripped hub of one or both of the brake drums. Not a difficult or expensive fix. Good luck.

Thanks I believe that is the problem. Pulled the hub off and it was stripped. Should i buy a new axle as well?

Inspect the splines on axle normally they are fine and only needs a hub
