Default 94 txt throttle adjustment

I have basically 1 speed. You push the pedal and it’s close to full throttle. Is there and how do I adjust so it’s like a normal golf cart. I also have a cold start issue. This is a new motor. Valves are adj. properly. It takes forever to get started. Once it’s running it runs good other than the throttle issue. Please help thank you.

Ok got the throttle adjusted properly now. Now the problem I have is the cold start. This is a new motor. I just adjusted the valves to .004 cold. Runs fine just takes forever to start. Once it is warm it runs great. What can I do to take care of the cold start problem. I have a friend with the same year cart and he does not have this problem.

First make sure the choke is closing all the way, I've had the same problem with a few Robins and find the best way to start is hold the choke out with the peddle to the floor for about 10 secs then slowly raise the peddle up and they start.
