Ignitor bad
I have a 98 ezgo pre mci txt cart that quit running. It failed the pulsar coil test so removed the shroud covering the cooling fan. I removed the nut on the crank shaft but can't figure out how to get to the coil. Do I need to bend the tabs and remove the bolts that hold the nylon cooling fan? All help would be appreciated. I've hunted everywhere looking for some instructions but found none.

Re: Ignitor bad
If you are removing the fan, and flywheel, that's the pulsar coil.

Re: Ignitor bad
I'm sure you are right but it is called different things in different places. At any rate it is bad and I have a replacement part but have to figure out how to get to it. LOL
