TXT driven clutch bolt Grade 5 or 8?
97 txt gas. Had to replace broken bolt for the driven clutch I think Grade 5 is recomended Lowes is out of grade 5 and only has grade 8. I know it will fit. Bit if it breaks. Are grade 8 bolts harder to drill out than a grade 5. Should it happen again
Thanks |

Do you have the broken bolt still so you can check markings on the head? Bolt head was possibly marked.

I think it was 5 also.
The 8 should NEVER break. (Yes, it is harder) I'd use it. |

Kinda what I was thinking. 8 would have never broke to start with. I would use the 8 also.Or class 10.9 if metric.
