Default asy go rvxv trouble cranking

2009 rxv easy go gas f j400d, every once in a while you hit the gas engine turns slightly stops on compression stroke . adjusted valves, new battery , cables cleaned, when this happens battery voltage goes to 10 volts, you hit gas a couple more times it cranks like always. what can it be besides starter generator also it has recently had new brushes put in and seems to be charging fine.

Try changing the positive battery cable.

Cleaning doesn't do any good if there is hidden corrosion up inside the cable.

Use a set of jumper cables to test from the positive battery post to each side of the solenoid, and to the starter.

Is it the hitachi or amd starter? If hitachi what color is the pulley? They had troubles with the hitachi with a too big gold pulley that the starter didn’t have enough umh to spin it. Ezgos solution was a smaller pulley. The package is part number 612031PKG. Not 100% but I think the pulley by itself is 617172
