The stereo is plenty loud i think but it could use more low end. I'm going to add a powered sub to help that out. I will take some pictures of the back of the speakers tomorrow. I just pushed the speakers into the foam in the engine compartment so that it stretched over the speakers. On the driver's side I had to cut the foil and plan to cover both sides with dynamat or something similar.

So here are picture of the backs of the speakers. Still have to clean up the wires a bit and install my choke and fuel pump after bending the bracket to fit.

I'll use some sort of heat shield or dynamat to cover the backs.

Awesome! Thanks! I need to figure something out for some tunes. I didn’t know how it would sound on a gas g16, but may end up doing the same as you.

I haven't had a chance to take it for a good drive yet because it's decided to be winter here in northern Canada and we keep getting dumps of snow. I did rev it up in nuetral and i can hear the music and it is plenty obnoxious for anyone nearby.

We're at a cool 49 degrees (F) here this morning in West Texas. Sounds like its going to be plenty loud! I'll be interested in seeing the dynamat install. Cart sure does look good!

Added some lights today. Under glow controlled by phone app to change colors and patterns etc and a single row LED light bar.

This cart has been completed for awhile but we had our first summer of owning an RV and getting to take the golf cart with us to some of the sites. I just bought an ex maintenance cart G29 to replace it. I will start a new thread with that build.IMG_20200718_190626.jpg

What roof did you buy? I have been looking to replace mine but haven’t found one that works with G-16.

I bought that one used off of a dealer. It came off of a G22. It's the stock G22 roof and windshield frame and rear posts. They bolted right up to the front bolts on the G16 and the seat brackets on the back. I just painted it black.
