how far out were the valves when you adjusted them?
with the compression numbers you've got, and adjusting the governor a bit, you should see a pretty significant difference. 20mph shouldn't be any problem at all. You may be able to eek out a little more if you really strain the engine, but much more speed than that and you'll need to start upgrading parts, which is where the money starts to add up. |
