Default 1992 Robin 295 engine removal

Ok so it has gotten warm enough to finally get out in my garage and pull the motor so I can rebuild it. However I have to say I’m kinda stumped on the best way to remove the engine. I have the belts removed and carb removed. I can’t get the muffler off. There seems to be a bunch motor mount bolts on the front and back of the motor. There are also what appears to be two mounts front and back that attach the motor to the rearends undercarriage. Any advice will help thanks.

Not sure your model cart but on my txt I just dropped the skid plate(4 bolts),then the 2 in front and 2 in rear mounts that go into the block, then it should lift right out. After you have the muffler and all linkage and wiring loose of course. Take plenty of pictures with your phone so you know where everything goes.

I can confirm it does, removed mine last year to fix some exhaust manifold bolts. Drop the skid plate bolts and the bolts going to the mounts - pull it out from the top.

Took me about 30 mins - really appreciated how easy these things are to work on.

Ok so yes it does come out the way you all have explained. However I’m now 4 plus hours into removal and it is still not out. Reading this myself I’m thinking what’s taking so long. I have pulled Yamaha g9 and g16’s out and apart in less time. I have one stripped head on the bolt that attaches the muffler to the manifold. Once I get that out it’s the four muffler mount bolts and the two rear motor mount bolts and it’s out. I’m hoping a little heat will help the stuck striped bolt.

Well here the motor is out and it cleaning up. The rear suspension is not like any of the parts breakdowns for a marathon that I have come across. Can anyone provide some knowledge.

The gas marathon used coil springs.
Maybe you are looking at a electric cart diagram.
