Ezgo 2pg engine rebuild issues
I just finished a fresh rebuild on a 2pg, I'm stumped right now as to what's going on, replaced the crank, bearings, crank seals, jug, piston, rings and all gaskets. When I went to crank the engine it blew the crank seal on the clutch side, I pulled the engine and put another crank seal in it, pulled the plug and spun the engine over by hand and can feel air passing by the crank seal. Anyone have any remedy or input on this? Its almost like its building too much crankcase pressure and it has no where to go

Re: Ezgo 2pg engine rebuild issues
The seals should be put in with Loctite, and staked in three places.
Did you put the piston in with the side port facing the intake? |

Re: Ezgo 2pg engine rebuild issues
Piston is facing correct direction but seals weren't put in with loctite or staked in any position, I will try that! thanks for the help
