Diagnosis: Accelerator sensitive when starting cold
I have a 1994 EzGo that when you haven't driven it in a day or so it is hard to get going. I have to shoot a little starter spray in the air box, I can only press the accelerator down a fraction of an inch, then it starts for a few seconds before coming to life. You can't floor the accelerator pedal, or push it very far, because nothing with happen then. Once running it runs perfectly all day, even after parking for a few hours. Any ideas?

Re: Diagnosis: Accelerator sensitive when starting cold
I have had a couple the same way, mostly when really cold. I hold the peddle down with the choke out for ten seconds or so then raise it to a little above idle and it starts... works best for me.
