Default Rxv driven clutch noise

I've just got a 2012 Rxv . It has a noise from the driven clutch as I slow down to stop. All clutch sheaves look fine, shiny, and clean, it’s an annoying creaking/pinging noise It sounds like an elastic band twang or a creaking/pinging spring. I power washed the cart inside and out and washed the driven clutch good and the noise went away for awhile I’m guessing until it dried out now it’s back.i tried spraying some lube into but no luck. Any ideas of a cure or the problem? Thanks for now!

I've seen several of those driven clutches wear out the groove where the snap ring holds the inward portion of the clutch in place on the center shaft. Eventually the snap ring pops out and the back/inward portion pops up against the transaxle housing and won't let the input shaft turn.

While you're ay it check/tighten the nuts on your rear hubs, where the splined axle shaft goes through the brake drum. Those are known to work loose over time and eventually strip the splines out of the drum. Often the first sign is that creaking noises.
