Default 2006 295 mci rebuild

I have a 2006 mci 295 engine that runs pretty well. It smokes when you start it which I assume is bad valve seals /and or guides. I pulled the engine and have it on my bench and would like to re-ring it and fix the valves. It has 170 psi in both cylinders. Only thing is the only rebuilding kits I can find are the no name variety on ebay . I have read some posts about o.e.m. parts but cannot find them. Any help would be welcome.

Does this cart have a lift kit installed ? Just reminding you and others that if you overfill these engines they will smoke. 1.5 quarts is all they take. 170 pounds of compression is great.

Normally these valve seals are never bad. The valve guides just don't wear like an old chevy. The intake valves do wear.

Most I see that are really worn are in carts that have been set to run 25 mph by messing with the governors.

These intakes are soft . The weak link in these engines . I always replace them when I tear into one.

I look at this way. If by chance the valve seals are hard then you oil is sure enough getting to guides for extra lubrication
Just a reminder

Yes the cart is lifted with a ezgo factory lift. I did read about lifted carts having that problem so I measured the oil . The cart sits level just like it did before so I don't see why that would happen. I'll be tearing into the engine this weekend so I don't expect to find much wrong hopefully.
