What is a 2015 EZGO S4 Express worth?

It was purchased new and used in a gated community for personal use during warm weather months so it gets light use. It is stored in a shed and looks great.

It’s being sold because they are selling their house in the community.

Gas engine (well maintained)
Chrome Aluminum Wheels
Turn Signals
Rear seatbelts

They are asking $5000.

I recently bought an electric 2012 RXV for $3200, (new batteries, body, lights etc)
I am thinking I may want this S4 and sell my RXV - I am not liking the whole charging thing.

Is this a good deal?

I'd go around 4k for it, but not much more than that. I've seen many of those for 2500-3k off-lease without the back seat and stuff (which can be added relatively cheaply). 5k seems steep in my region

I thought the Express models all come stock with the rear bench and everything which is the allure of that cart because it’s built from the factory as a personal cart with everything one needs?

The challenge with my area is the outside power sports place is getting $3800 for 2009 / 2010 wholesale beaters off a course. This cart would go for $6500 hundred easy. The person I bough my 2012 RXV paid $5300 for it.

I’ve never seen a used Express go up for sale and knowing it was bought new and used on the summer weekends makes it a really sought after cart.

I was thinking the same $4k

But my kiddos like the electric RXV - the one told me “SToP with your fOMO” this is how I ended up with 5 motorcycles once. I just couldn’t let a good deal pass me by. And in the end I made a few thousand dollars by reselling them.

What would be a good lowball to get to $4k - 3800?

As far as I am aware (and I've been wrong before, so someone please correct me if I am wrong) a S4 is just an ezgo with a brush guard, back seat, and different wheels/tires. Aesthetics package, nothing drivetrain or functional is different. Nothing you couldnt get or add on any cart. I'd rather build a cart with my choice of body/wheels/seat/etc than buy, but that's just my preference.

I offered $4k - he said he has a few folks checking it out this weekend and he’s in no hurry to sell.l but the min would be 4500. I told him when folks start asking for payment plans give me a buzz and I’ll be there with $4k.

I expect it will sell for $5k or at least his 4500. I doubt I’ll be able to pick it up for $4k

We’ll see.
