cp241 - before I knew about the VC plate mount, I just about reinvented the wheel with air cleaner, and exhaust mods to use the 460 mount with a v-twin. Or,I could have raised the seat!

Don't see any type rubber mounts or isolators, but the engine is mounted on about a 3" mount that is bolted front and back to the cart engine cradle, the S/G bracket/mount is separately mounted/bolted on same mount bracket engine is. Previous owner purchased engine and installation kit as a package requiring no fabrications. Both HF Predator 13 hp and Lifan 13 hp only have a charging output of about 3-5 amps. my cart has lights but rarely use them, cart also has 850cca heavy duty battery in it. Guess I could retain the current S/G charging system.

With the v-twin mount, it fit perfectly find under the seat with the lift kit. I ran it exactly as it was, dropped in with the lifan fuel tank and all for a while until I got around to drilling a hole in the carb spacer to use the OEM fuel pump and gas tank. I don't think with the 3" spacer on top you're going to fit it with the stock muffler though, it had plenty of room in mine but that 3" difference would put it right up to the body and probably melt something. You could always use the VC exhaust header and the walker muffler though on the lifan.

I've seen some post state that 18V charging system is built into the engine system and others that it requires the addition of a separate external coil to the engine for additional charging amps. PS.. thanks for all your helpful info.

I think cp241 and others have done many conversions, and I have all of one under my belt.

Correct. It comes with about a 4"x6"x2" box you'll have to mount somewhere. I just mounted it where the ignitor and everything came from (and was removed).

I didn't have a picture of it so the video in my front yard was the best I could do. Cart had a ton of torque, just quite loud

Was going to order Lifan 15hp online today, but online didn't have it, drove to Home Depot and none of them have any either, will set it out and wait.
